Human Communication Objective Approach And Interpretive...

Communication can be observed in many different ways on many different levels. As human beings we observe everything around us every day. We notice patterns, behaviors of others, sequential order of others and algorithms in any given situation. Based on those patterns we make predictions or assumptions about what people will or will not do or what will or will not happen. There are two scientific methods of analyzation that take two different approaches to human communication â€Å"Objective approach and Interpretive approach†. Hopefully by defining, comparing and contrasting these to two different scientific methods will illuminate some clarity to how scholars observe and analyze human communication. Although, Objective approach and the Interpretive approach differ they both have interesting and dynamic ways of approaching communication; with different views on how to arrive at find the truth, essences of human nature or knowledge. Take for instance the scientific method of Objective approach assumes that truth stands alone and is singular in nature. This approach also carries the assumption that the truth is reachable through unbiased sensory observation and committed to revealing the cause-and-effect relationship. Appling this scientific method that predicts, describe, and explain recurring forms of human behavior are technics used mainly by scholars called Behavioral/Objective Scientist (Griffen,Em, 2012).
